my testimony

My past
My past is a huge reason why I am so adamant about men and women of God being rooted in their God-given identity. I was bound in invisible chains placed on my life by the enemy. Chains from demonic generational cycles , lust, anger, and addictions to name a few. I allowed these things to lead me into a downward spiral, which led to hopelessness and suicidal thoughts.
Lack of KNOWLEDGE
I lacked revelatory knowledge of how Jesus valued and loved me. I did not see myself the way He sees me, and I believe this had everything to do with how I chose to live my life. The unwise decisions I made was a clear indication of my lack of knowledge to who I am in Christ. I did not know how to love, or how to receive it. Love was like a foreign language to me. I placed my identity in many things that brought me no fulfillment. I do believe because I had a praying grandfather I am here today. Jesus pursued me, and the rest is history. I witness first-hand the power of God in my own life. I am a product of God's saving, transformational grace.
it's a process
For me, discovering who I am in Christ was a process. It did not happen overnight. The Lord took me through a step by step process. I found myself continuing to fall back into sin. The more I tried to move forward the more temptation would increase. In the midst of this process I had a beautiful baby boy named Jacobi. He is my gift from God. He is a young man of God who now has his very own relationship with the Lord. My freedom was not only for my best interest, but it was also for my legacy best interest. Once I received revelation on who I am in Jesus and what I meant to Him, there was no turning back for me. There are no limits on how far I could go in Him if I choose His way everyday.
my first step
My first step was acknowledging my sin, and then repenting with a sincere heart for living a LIFESTYLE of sin. I realized I was a sinner that needed a Savior. I then entered into an intimate relationship with Jesus. He did not only become my Savior, but He became Lord (Owner) of my life.
my goal
My goal is to help all those who the Lord sends across my path to do the same. I will fight alongside those the Father has called me to. My heart is to see them walk free from everything that has kept them bond. My heart is to see their identity be rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ.
my tribe
Since walking with Jesus, I have surrounded myself with a tribe of people that I admire, people that inspire, people that have something to teach, and from whom I can learn. I know that learning a new way of doing things is a challenge, but with Jesus first, the right set of skills and abilities, anything and everything is possible.
my purpose
I believe my purpose is to become the full expression of who I am in Jesus Christ, and to help others achieve the same.
