Are You Apart of the FEW?

Yesterday I saw the word "FEW" multiple times. The first scripture that came to mind was Matthew 22:14.
“For many are called, but FEW are chosen.” Matthew 22:14
The difference between being called and chosen is the chosen has given God an unwavering YES. They have chosen the way of obedience to God, and total submission to His purposes and plans over their lives no matter the cost. They are willing to go beyond the limits and barriers that's been set in place to stop them. They are willing to appear crazy for the sake of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in and out of season. They are willing to stand in the fire and be ridiculed while everyone has chosen to bow for the sake of keeping an ungodly peace.
They are your modern-day Moses, Esthers, Deborahs, Davids, Elijahs, Paul's, John the Baptists, Nehemiah's, Jeremiahs, Daniels, Josephs, Peters, and the list goes on.
"Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." Matthew 16:24
Many people who are called never fulfill the calling on their lives, because they have chosen to live their life their way. They are not willing to deny themselves of fleshly desires, nor or they willing to follow the narrow path of righteousness.
"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life." Matthew 19:29
When I read Matthew 19:29 I immediately think about being chosen and choosing to live for and follow Jesus comes at a cost. Sometimes a very painful one. A price many are not willing to pay. However, the chosen will be rewarded. Rewarded in a greater measure than others. Everyone will not receive a hundredfold blessing.
Are you apart of the few chosen?
