In worship, the Lord reminded me of a specific part of a dream I had back in April where He would say to me...,
"No matter what happens, JUST REMAIN IN PEACE. Everything is going to be okay. Life is like a crossword puzzle. You may not know how everything is going to fit or turn out, but it always fits in the end."
Little did I know, I would face some very difficult and challenging weeks ahead. It was so challenging that I kept hearing the word quit. I felt hope leaving me. I then begin to cry out to the Lord, saying, "I AM YOUR DAUGHTER!" See, the enemy was screaming in my ear, trying to tell me who I was not in one of the most vulnerable times in my life when it seemed that everything was falling apart. There was a full-blown attack on my identity that came via witchcraft because I have stepped into another realm with God! I had to remind myself that I am the daughter of the most high God in the midst of disappointment! I had no clarity and could not see. The Lord used my friends to pray for me to help break the power of the witchcraft.
In Jesus' most vulnerable moments in the wilderness, Satan attacked His identity, saying to Him, "IF you be the Son of God...". Jesus would respond back by saying, "IT IS WRITTEN." He would declare the Word as a counter-attack. The enemy would twist the Word to attack Jesus so that He would respond from a soulish place and bow down to him. Even though Jesus was weak, He did not allow the enemy to pull Him into a cobweb of lies and deceit concerning who He was to prove a point. Jesus knows exactly who He is. He just simply declared the word. Although, sometimes, that may not be enough depending on the attack. Sometimes, you need some reinforcement. In that regard, the Father sent an angel to strengthen Him after the Bible says that Satan fleed from Him until another time. The Father can send you angelic assistance as well. Ask and you shall receive.
Two of the most highlighted scriptures for me from this are:
1) Matthew 4:1, "Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil."
The scripture says it was the Holy Spirit who led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. Sometimes, the Lord will lead you down paths that will test the Word in you. Will you still be found standing on the ROCK? No matter how violent the waves are from the storm, will you still be found standing? Will you worship the Father anyway? Will you remember who you are in Him?😭
2)Matthew 4:14, "Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region."
This scripture says He RETURNED IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! When you come out of your storm, you are coming out with power you did not go in with! Power that everyone will see and acknowledge! For the Father is setting a table for you in the presence of your enemies! They will all look and see the hand of God on you! It will not be deniable! COME THROUGH JESUS!!!
I want to encourage you today that no matter where there is a lack of understanding or no matter what you are facing, you serve a God who does not sleep nor slumber. He is the Prince of Peace who knows your ending from your beginning. Nothing catches Him by surprise. For the steps of the righteous are ordered. His grace is sufficient for you in your most weakest moments, SO BOAST IN YOUR WEAKNESS SO THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST MAY REST UPON YOU!! The suffering you have faced does not compare to the glory that will be revealed in you. Stay the course. Don't quit. Persevere and endure! For the race is not given to the swift nor the strong, but to those who will endure to the end! As long as you have breath in your body, there is hope in Christ Jesus.
BE AT PEACE IN JESUS.
Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
2 Corinthians 12:9, "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."
Romans 8:18, "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."
Psalm 121:4, "Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep."
