I have been battling thoughts for the last pass two days. I decided to stop, ask the Lord was this Him, and if so, am I to address this. I feel a release to this morning.
Some of us are missing our moments of deliverance from things that if freed from, could catapult us into elevation and promotion. We are too busy tending to others and what they need to be free from. Neglecting, WE, OURSELVES must go free from some things. WE, OURSELVES must get into the secret place and allow the Father to reveal to us the hidden things that is keeping US in capitivity.
We have become busybodies that nicpick and are hecklers at a time where the Lord would like to tend to us, so that WE might walk out our OWN salvation with fear and trembling.
I find that people who seem to be mature in their gifting struggle with this. They operate from their soul rather than their spirit. There is no character development, and no wisdom in the times that matter the most. They are too busy looking outwardly at others that they forget to look inwardly at themselves. They tend to operate in the spirit of Jezebel. Controlling, manipulative, and wanting to get their way.
Your spiritual gifting is not what promotes you. Man may see your gift and promote you, but the Father is looking at the heart. He is looking at the work you have allowed Him to do IN YOU in the SECRET PLACE.
Do you have the character for promotion? Have you allowed the Lord to set you free in areas of your life you may be blind to? Do you have compassion for others?
I can guarantee your head knowledge will not get you promoted in the kingdom of God. I am not talking about what man has built. I am talking about the true kingdom of God where the anointing breaks the yoke. It does not matter how often you serve and go to church. It does not matter how well versed you are. Have you allowed the Father to circumcise your heart? Do you listen and obey the Lord? Not perfection, but the willingness to acknowledge where you missed it, so that you may obtain wisdom from that mistake to move forward in the Lord.
Make sure before we are so quick to look at another's demons to cast out that we make sure we allowed the Lord to show us ours so they may be cast out.
Matthew 7:3-5, "How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
2 Thessalonians 3:11, "For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies."
Philippians 2:12, "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
