Give Only What the Father Instructs

I had a dream months ago about a lady who had little but gave what the Lord instructed her to. In the dream this lady felt embarrassed because of the amount she gave. I remember this being highlighted... it didn't matter how big her seed was, but it mattered that she obeyed to give what the Lord asked of her.
I've been in conferences where the person taking up offering says, "If you're giving a $1000.00 seed stand up. If you're giving $500.00 stand up." They go on and on until they get to around a $100.00. Then they have everybody who's giving eventually stand.
THIS IS NOT GOD!
People who have very little feel their seed isn't good enough after offerings like this. I've watched people stand up who pledge to give the maximum amount full of pride.
What the Holy Spirit puts on someone's heart to give should be between them and the Lord. It will be the Holy Spirit who brings correction and rebuke if they give less than or more than what He has instructed.
I've been in conferences where I wanted to give, and the Holy Spirit instructed me not to. I remember going against what He said, and immediately being overtaken with anxiety so much that I had to request my money back. Weeks later I'm at a gathering sitting next to a woman whom I did not know. I heard the Holy Spirit say, "This is who you give the seed to." That seed opens the door for me to speak into her life. She had been battling hopelessness and a lack of provision to say the least. She knew that day the Father sees her and loves her. He met her right where she was.
Be obedient to the voice of the Lord. Don't be manipulated into giving no more or no less than what the Father has instructed you to. AND ONLY GIVE WHEN HE SAYS TO. For every seed has purpose. Sow where He says sow ONLY.
"Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you; this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.” Mark 12:41-44
