I had a dream that a man gave me a Bible. I could tell from looking at the Bible that it was used. I was so excited about receiving the bible because I knew, in the dream, this was confirmation that a man would indeed give me a Bible from two confirmations that came earlier in the dream. When I opened the Bible, I noticed it had no words. It was a Bible that could only be read by code. Like a Bible written for blind people.
When I woke up, the Holy Spirit immediately reminded me of the movie "The Book of Eli" with Denzel Washington. Denzel was a blind man on a mission to take the last hand-held Bible to a safe place across the waters to be replicated. There was an evil man who was purposefully burning all bibles. When he found out Denzel had the last Bible, he set out to kill Denzel and take the Bible. In this, no one knew Denzel was blind. He was met with obstacle after obstacle but overcame them all. He fought heroically with no sight. Being keen to what I would say was the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Denzel ended up getting shot by the man but lived to get to his destination. Although the evil man shot Denzel and took the Bible, Denzel was still able to share the entire Bible so that it could be replicated. The word was in his heart. The evil man opened the Bible to find out it was a Bible for blind people. A Bible he could not read.
I knew the Lord was showing me that it's important that the word be in our hearts. If every Bible was burned and taken, will we have enough word in us to sustain us. This is not about having the word for another, but do you KNOW and BELIEVE the word for yourself. We need our very own relationship with Jesus. We need our very own faith muscles to grow. This is when the word you meditate on is challenged by life obstacles.
In another dream, I said to a woman who was worried about provision, "The Lord is your Shepard, you shall not want?" I then said, "In order for you to know that's true, that word has to be tested." In order for her to know the Lord will lead and guide her, she has to be put in uncertain situations with no visible clarity to know that the LORD is indeed her Shepard. In order for her to know she lacks nothing in the Lord, she has to be put in situations where she is in need so that she will know the Lord is indeed her provider. He will provide clarity, joy, peace, provision or whatever you are in need of in HIS TIMING. It is time out for microwave faith. We want results right away all the time, and sometimes, that will not be the case. Sometimes, you will have to wait before visible manifestation.
When life happens, and it will, stand on God's word in the waiting. The word that is in your heart will be tested. However, if you wait and do not faint, it shall surely come to pass. They who wait on the Lord strength will be renewed! He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak!! Do not allow the time in between time make you feel the word does not work for you. The Bible I read speaks of picking up your cross and following Jesus. Whoever said that to bear a cross was easy, but with Jesus there is a supernatural grace to endure and persevere. The Word also speaks of suffering. You will have times of suffering because suffering produces things within you that is needed for the places of promotion that the Father intends to elevate you to. It produces perseverance, character, and hope. All are needed.
Walking with Jesus is no cakewalk, but it's a beautiful love story of ONE THAT WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU WHETHER YOU ARE IN THE VALLEY OR ON THE MOUNTAINTOP.
Get to know Jesus through His word for yourself. Hide His Word in your hearts.
Ezekiel 3:10, "Then he added, “Son of man, let all My words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself.
Proverbs 30:5, "Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him"
James 1:2-4, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing".
Matthew 16:25, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me”.
Romans 5:3-5, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
Psalm 119:11, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You."
Isaiah 40:28-31, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
