How Deep is Your Love?

The Lord woke me up at 3:11 am. precisely this morning, and immediately Malachi 3:11 came to mind.

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts." Malachi 3:11

As I began to declare Malachi 3:11, in my spirit I heard, "How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really need to know" repeatedly. Those words are the chorus to a song by the BeeGees from years ago. (Sidenote: Don't allow the spirit of religion to make you miss out on multiple ways the Father speaks.) Continuing, as I pondered on Malachi 3:11 and those words, the Lord began to give me revelation.

The Lord is saying, all though you cannot SEE what He is doing in the midst of the battle, weariness, and confusion; know He is contending with those who contend with you and fighting against those who is fighting against you. He is rebuking the devourer for your sake and the seeds that you have sown shall surely bring forth a harvest in its proper timing. The enemy will not destroy that which the Father shall and have blessed you with. Your breakthrough is imminent! It's on the horizon!

But as you wait to see the manifestation of His glory, your love for God is being tested. Will you still love Him despite what you cannot see and the duration of time spent in this place? Will your love towards Him grow deeper or colder due to your circumstances? Does your love for Him have limitations based on what He does for you and in the timing in which He does it? Will you press into LOVE or run from LOVE?

I ask the question, "How do you know a love untested is real love?" Unconditional. Are we only serving God and His people to see His hand? Are our intentions and motives pure? Are we motivated by LOVE?

May we remember the character of God in the darkest and hardest seasons. May our love for Him be without condition.😭❤️
