"OUR GOD REIGNS!"

"OUR GOD REIGNS!" As we song the words to this song collectively yesterday during worship, I heard this war cry set off in the spirit. As I pressed in, I felt this was more so for our nation.

Psalm 103:19 says, “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.”

It is vital that we understand that no matter how things appear in this nation, "OUR GOD REIGNS!" He dwells in you, therefore giving you the ability to allow Him to reign through you too! There is much to do as the body of Christ to ensure that the Father shall have His way in the midst of darkness. Darkness CANNOT out shine light. ARE YOU BEING THE LIGHT?

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5

We are the body of Christ, all with different functions. With those different functions, we are all assigned to different spheres of influence and regions. It is vital that we all do our part. It is vital that we don't frown on our brothers and sisters because their part looks different than ours. We should all be working together for the same goal! THAT JESUS BE GLORIFIED! We should all be seeking the face of God for a greater understanding of the times we are in and what part we play.

Romans 12:4 says, "For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another."

As I'm typing this, the Lord is reminding of a time I stood on the sidewalk next to my brothers and sisters in Christ in front of a abortion clinic in Florida back in 2020. We stood there in silence with red tape on our mouth with the word "LIFE" written on it. Alongside us were other brothers and sisters in Christ who were preaching the Gospel and trying to get the attention of those walking into this abortion clinic. Weeks later, we would be verbally attacked by one of the sisters from the other team. Here me.The Lord forewarned me in a dream ahead of time that we would be attack by a sister that was trying to accomplish the same thing we were. THE ABOLISHMENT OF ABORTION. But because we were silent and praying unto the Lord, and her team was vocal, she took it as we wasn't actively doing our part. This all happened on the sidewalk in front of everyone. We all met up and reconciled later. It was one of those all things work together for the good.

OUR GOD REIGNS needs to be at the forefront of our minds and embedded in our hearts. Do your part and let God do the rest.

Psalm 93:1–2, “The LORD reigns! He is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed, enveloped in strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken."

There are too many times that people at the bottom of the mountain misunderstand those that are either climbing to the top or at the top of the mountain. When you choose to come up higher with Jesus, He begins to reveal to you things that are impossible for you to see at the bottom of the mountain. He gives you a perspective from a heavenly view. As the body, we should be seeking to come higher and go deeper with Jesus. Before attacking another sister or brother with word curses, seek the face of God concerning the calling or the assignment in that sister or brother life at the moment.

Revelation 4:1, "After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. The first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."
