Prophetic Warning: The Spirit of Mammon

I've been having dreams about the spirit of Mammon within the body of Christ. A spirit that lusts after money.
The word lust means a strong craving or desire for something or someone.
The desire to have more in an unhealthy way has put many of God's people in a place of compromise. A place where the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been compromised. A place that has drawn a wedge between us and the Father, because we crave money more than we crave for a pure and untainted relationship with Him.
The Father wants His people wealthy and not in lack, but never do He want them to allow wealth to become their god. It's a demonic drive for more rather than a pure heart to build ONLY what He has asked of you.
The Word says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
The Father is faithful to add all things within the realm of the Kingdom of God to us in His appointed timing.
The Word also says in Proverbs 10:22, "The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it."
I've watched men and women of God get into ungodly covenant relationships because of money that will later cost them. That's marriage and business relationships. The Father has brought these men and women out of Egypt and the wilderness into their promised land, but one thing is evident...they have made the gods of those in that land their god. Money.
Here's the WARNING: If you choose to continue to lust after money your wells will run dry.
As I'm writing this I'm envisioning the people of God being taken into captivity because they made a choice to serve money.
Here's the GOOD NEWS: If you choose to repent and turn you will be forgiven. Somebody praise Jesus!
Throughout the word when God's people chose not to repent and turn there was always a consequence to pay, but when they chose to repent there was always grace and redemption!
Jesus said, "Life and death I put before you. Choose LIFE."
Choosing to repent is choosing LIFE. Choosing not to is choosing death and you shall surely see your wells run dry.
Joshua 24:15 "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
