THE CROSSOVER POINT: SANCTIFY YOURSELVES

As I was sitting with the Lord I heard, "SANCTIFY YOURSELVES".

Joshua 3:5 says, "And Joshua said to the people, “SANCTIFY YOURSELVES, for tomorrow the LORD WILL DO WONDERS AMONG YOU.”(emphasis mines) Some of you are in a pivotal moment in your lives where you are transitioning from one season to the other. You are at your CROSSOVER POINT. You are standing looking forward to crossover into a way that you have not yet been with little to no clarity (Joshua 3:4). You are waiting on your next steps from the God that orders your steps (Psalms 37:23). Some are facing transitions that require miracles. You are facing impossibilities with the understanding that what is impossible with man, is possible with God (Luke 18:27). CROSSOVER POINTS THAT REQUIRES FAITH. THIS IS WHY YOU MUST SANCTIFY YOURSELF. The word santify means "TO MAKE HOLY" or "consecrate". It involves actively REMOVING IMPURITIES AND SINFUL HABITS so that you are SPIRITUALLY PREPARED for positive TRANSFORMATION OR DIVINE EXPERIENCES via Google per multiple sources. Joshua 3:6 states, "Then Joshua SPOKE TO THE PRIESTS, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant and CROSS OVER BEFORE THE PEOPLE...” (emphasis mines) Joshua spoke to the PRIEST to go before the people to CROSSOVER with the ARK OF THE COVENANT. This means that the presence of God was with them as they crossover, just as He will be with you when you crossover. Priest are intercessors. PEOPLE WHO PRAY where GOD HEARS, AND ANSWERS. 1 Peter 2:9 says, "But you are a CHOSEN GENERATION, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;"(emphasis mines) As followers of Jesus Christ we are all priest. With that understanding we must actively posture ourselves to prepare to crossover into our next seasons through prayer and fasting. Choosing to remove distractions, and choosing not to allow yourselves to be seduce into immoral behavior. Being mindful on what you intake through your ear gates and your eye gates. Not leaving any open doors for the enemy. Hebrews 10:4 says, 'For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are BEING SANCTIFIED."(emphasis mines) Sanctification should be an ongoing process in our daily lives where we are allowing the Father to search every part of us to cleanse us as we become more like Him daily. STEPS TO TAKE: (1) I would encourage you to take the time to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you open doors in your life, distractions, and/or anything that is hidden from you that can hinder you from crossing over. (2) Once He reveals those things, if repentance is required, repent. (3) Ask the Lord to pour out His blood to cleanse you, and santify you. (4) Actively close every door in the spirit realm that the Holy Spirit reveals to you that has been opened. (5) Position yourself in prayer with scripture, specifically geared towards your transition. Decreeing and declaring the Word with confidence and authority. (6) Posture yourself to HEAR AND OBEY by removing distractions. (7) REST IN FAITH, AND GOD'S WORD WITH THANKSGIVING. Being prepared for when the Lord says GO NOW.
