The motive behind what we do, what we say, and why we do and why we say must come from a PURE heart. We must allow the Holy Spirit in on a consistent basis to check the contents of our OWN hearts. We must allow the Holy Spirit into our hearts to check for unforgiveness, offense, bitterness, pride and ego, criticism, etc. In that regard, we must make the decision to deal with the things He reveals to us, ABOUT US, IMMEDIATELY. Psalm 139:23-24 says, "SEARCH ME, O God, and KNOW MY HEART; try me and know my thoughts. SEE if there is any HURTFUL WAY IN ME, and LEAD ME in the WAY EVERLASTING." The checking for any open doors is vital, lest we give the enemy access to us in a way that will not only bring harm to us, but to those who are connected to us in any way. For the enemy is subtle in his attack against us. If our heart is left unchecked, we open ourselves up to deception. It's the serpent in the garden (Genesis 3). It's the little foxes that come to spoil your vineyard (Solomon 2:15). He seeks to kill, steal, and destroy relationships, destiny, bridge building moments, vision, etc. On the other hand, Jesus seeks to bring forth LIFE , AND LIFE, MORE ABUNDANTLY (John 10:10). Jeremiah 17:9-10 states, “The HEART IS DECEITFUL above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, SEARCH THE HEART, I TEST THE MIND, Even to GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS WAYS, According to the FRUIT OF HIS DOINGS. We must make the choice to LEAD with LOVE, speak from LOVE, and take action from LOVE. Without TRUTH, there is no REAL LOVE. Without GRACE, there is no REAL LOVE. Without MERCY, there is no REAL LOVE. Without COMPASSION, there is no REAL LOVE. FOR GOD IS LOVE AND OUTSIDE OF I AM, ALL OF HIM AND NOT JUST SOME OF HIM, THERE IS NO REAL LOVE. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." When we prophecy, we must prophecy from a heart posture of REAL LOVE. When we preach and teach, we must preach and teach from a heart posture of REAL LOVE. The motive behind what we do MUST ALIGN WITH THE HEART OF THE FATHER. The things that grieve the heart of the Father must grieve us. Under no circumstances does the Father take joy out of judgment. Judgment is put into play to turn the hearts of the people back to God. Joel 2:12-13 states, "Yet even now," declares the LORD, "return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and mourning. REND YOUR HEART and not your garments. RETURN TO THE LORD your God, for he is GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE, slow to anger and ABOUNDING IN LOVE, and he RELENTS FROM sending calamity." Psalm 94:12-15 says, "BLESSED is the one whom YOU DISCIPLINE; whom You teach by Your law, so that he may get rest from the teeth of the enemy; for as soon as You CHASTISE a man, You will SURELY BRING them BACK to righteousness. Surely, judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it." How do we obtain a pure heart? THE SECRET PLACE. THE STILL WATERS WHERE YOUR SOUL IS RESTORED (Psalms 23:2-3). Allowing the Father to CREATE in you a CLEAN HEART and a RIGHTEOUS SPIRIT (Psalms 51:10). In this place is where the Father reveals the hidden things of the heart. YOUR HEART. I would like to encourage you to sit with the Holy Spirit and really allow Him into your heart before you speak or do anything that seeks to get an emotional response out of you. Our emotions can be the devil's playground when they are not submitted to the Father. I know this firsthand. #love #heart #leadwithlove #forgiveness #pureheart #purity #holiness #christian #christianlifestyle
