I was writing some things down to HELP ME AS I WAIT on the Father. I really feel led to share some of them with you in hopes that it can help you in some way. It's not written in any particular order. •You acquire wisdom while you wait when you choose to listen and obey the Holy Spirit. You learn from Him throughout the process. He is THE ULTIMATE WISE COUNSEL. •Don't take on a victim mentality while you wait. Fight to see yourself as one of victory in Jesus, because you are. Thanking the Father that He trusts you to walk through such a season in knowing you'll be still standing at the end. Still standing on the SOLID ROCK. JESUS. In all things give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. •The waiting process should be a time of strengthening if you learn to wait well. Learn to rest while you wait. Wait in faith. Knowing that your season of waiting is temporary and not permanent. Choosing to meditate on the TRUTH. ON SCRIPTURE. •For some, you have been waiting for over a decade. Again, thank the Lord that He trusts you enough to choose you to wait for an extended amount time while under attack and facing disappointment after disappointment. Your reward want look the same as others. Did every one receive the ABRAHAMIC BLESSING as Abraham? Did JOB'S friends receive double portion as he did? Did everyone receive the same promotion as JOSEPH? The answer is no. No one chose to walk at the level of faithfulness that those three did despite opposition, tragedy, betrayal, and loss. •The Lord will strengthen you while you wait. Giving you immeasurable grace to wait if you lean into Him and not the weariness of the wait. You'll have moments where you become weary and weak. In those moments, remember, He gives strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak, so ask Him to. He renews the strength for those who wait on Him. They shall mount up on wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary. •Don't strive while you wait. Be led by the Holy Spirit. Its not by might, nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit that you shall obtain victory. •You can't make anything happen that the Father is not ready to happen for you. It's all in His timing. Joseph was not released from confinement until it was the proper time. He was confined for a time that change the trajectory of his life when the Lord allowed him to be remembered at the proper moment. It may seem as if you have been forgotten about. Remember, the Lord will never forsake you and He surely has not forgotten you. He sees right where you are, and He knows the end that He intends for you to have from the very beginning. There is a set time for breakthrough and a bursting forward into all the Father has been preparing for you. Trust Him and rest in Him. •Be ready when He promotes you. Joseph was ready to lead with wisdom that he had obtained and cultivated over the years of confinement and betrayal. •Joseph learned that even the betrayal worked for his good in the end, and that forgiveness is the key to joy from within. If you choose to forgive and not live in a place of offense, you can take hold of joy before the breakthrough, and live from a place of joy while you live on the otherside of breakthrough. •In some cases betrayal is necessary. It has a way to catapult you into destiny. Did Judas not catapult Jesus into purpose and destiny? Because Jesus was betrayed and gave His life for us, if we choose, we now can have an everlasting covenant with the Father. We can live a life worth living. A life of FREEDOM AND HOPE IN THE LORD. •It was the moments of betrayal and confinement that positioned Joseph to be set up for victory later. Had it not been for the Potiphar's wife betrayal and false accusations, Joseph would have never been in jail, in confinement. Positioned for the greatest promotion of his life. •WITHOUT Joseph being put into prison and forgotten for a time, would they have been able to find Joseph if he was set free two years prior to the dreams that the Lord worked with him to interpret that led to his freedom and promotion? Something to think about. Don't walk away before the breakthrough. Don't turn and go backwards. Stay right where you are until the Lord open the doors. Be where you need to be for as long as you need to be there. •Trust the process. God thoughts are higher than ours and His ways is certainly not the way we would automatically choose for ourselves. However, when we choose to do it God's way, you find yourself taking the long way around. The way of integrity, and sometimes the way of integrity makes you an outcast from others, but it's the way that will be well rewarding in the end. #trusttheprocess #waitongod #encouragement #faith # hope
