WARNING TO KINGDOM BUSINESS OWNERS:

The aesthetic of what you do will determine the price in which you can charge. Don't allow your spare time to become an unfruitful time strolling on the internet.

About a month ago I had a dream. In this dream I was walking with this young man who cut hair. As I looked around I noticed multiple salons and barber shops. The aesthetic to them all were different. I said to the young man I was walking with that he cut hair just as good as the other people, but he needed a better aesthetic. In the dream I knew the others could charge more due to the aesthetic of their salon, but he charged cheaper even though he was really good at what he did.

The dream shifts and I'm now with this young lady. I asked her what was she about to do because her client had not come yet. She said to me, "Go get on the internet." I asked her a second time and she said the same thing. I knew she should not be spending her spare time on the internet.

I believe this dream is about how we aesthetically present ourselves in any form of the marketplace, and in order to do it in alignment with the Father's plans, we must use our time wisely. We must understand it's not just about how good you are or your products, but the importance of presenting what you do with the spirit of excellence so you can charge exactly how much you are worth (Daniel 6:3). If you are just as good as those who people consider to be the best, then you must present yourself as such.

Believe in what you are called to do enough to invest your time and resources to making it be all the Father desires it to be. If the Father called you to build it, He will in return provide for it. You must open your mouth to ask and thank Him for it in advance. Life and death is in the power of your tongue according to Proverbs 18:21. Don't move from a place of poverty no matter what your bank account looks like. You move knowing that your Father owns all the cattle on a thousand hills, and the hills in which the cattle sits on He created (Psalm 50:10). He said in Haggai 2:8, "The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts." When you are in covenant with the Lord what belongs to Him belongs to you. Do business from that perspective and be sure to include Him in everything.

Be mindful of how much time you spend on the internet in your spare time. This is where so many people get into comparison and competition. We see what others are doing and began to strive, rather than spending time with the Father. When you spend time with Him, He will reveal to you the plans He has for what He has called you to do. From here you can move from a place of ease and rest.

Your building, website, business cards, marketing, etc. should be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and done with the spirit of excellence (Daniel 6:3). You should be authentically yourself. You should be set apart not blending in with everyone else. People pay attention to that and will pay for what you have to offer.
