We Must STOP Doing Church & Be the Church.

It's time to STOP doing church and actually be the church. It is time to STOP performing and entertaining people with words and with little to no power.
Church should not be something we go to on Sundays, but rather it should be a way of life. A lifestyle that reflects Jesus to all people outside and inside the four walls of a building we call church.
The Holy Spirit is not found in a building, but He resides within the people of God who have chosen to give Him a place to dwell. We are suppose to be the temple of God, not a building. (See 1 Corinthians 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 6:19)
When people encounter us there should be something different about us that is different from the world. When they encounter us they should be encountering Jesus because He lives in us. When people encounter us they should be encountering the life changing kingdom of God. ( See Mark 1:15, Matthew 4:17 and Luke 10:9)
Peace, joy, hope, authentic love, courage, faith, wisdom, fear of the Lord, knowledge, wise counsel, mercy, compassion, the heart to serve others, and the authority over the kingdom of darkness should be recognizable in us. We should be cultivating what's already there as we choose to continue to grow in intimacy with Jesus. (See 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Romans 12:6-8, Matthew 10:1, and 1 Peter 4:10-11)
Character development within the body of Christ is needed on a greater scale more than I could have ever imagined. We must choose to grow in our character becoming more like Jesus everyday. Allowing Him to search our hearts. Allowing the Bible to be our blueprint on what the character of a blood-washed follower of Jesus Christ is suppose to look like. There has been enough finger pointing and reacting. It is time we take a look within ourselves allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal and burn away anything that can hinder us from becoming the best versions of ourselves. (See Romans 5:3-4, Galatians 5:22-23, Hebrews 8:10, Philippians 2:3-4, and 1 Peter 1:5-7)
We should not be looking to be seen by men/women or even accepted by men/women. As we move forward into this next season we must keep in my mind that JESUS IS ENOUGH. Everyone will not see who you are. Everyone will not value you. And because of the insecurities of many they will dislike you because your identity is rooted and grounded in Christ with NO FACADE. (See Colossians 1:15–20, John 6:35, 2 Corinthians 12:9, John 14:8–9, Matthew 6:1–6, Galatians 1:10, and Proverbs 25:6–7)
Whatever doors the Father chooses to open and close in this season, allow Him. I see detours ahead. Meaning, you were headed in one direction, but now the Lord is redirecting you to another. Trust His leading. He knows the way. Move in faith and not in fear. Choosing to rest in Him as the good Shepard. The One who leads, guides, and provides. (See Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 23:1, Psalm 37:23, and Isaiah 30:21)
