What's The Reason For The Riots And Ongoing Violence

About a week ago I was in prayer and these words came out while I was praying, "What happen to the simplicity of the Gospel?". I was shocked by the aggressive way they came out. There was hurt and anger attached to the question. I felt the Father's heart in that moment.

Last night I had a dream where this young man blamed racism for being the reason there is so much turmoil going on around us. This man was a Christian man who I once was very close to. I disagreed, and he said to me, "Look around you. Shreveport is on fire." He said, "Its racism and bigotry". I could tell he was okay with the way people were responding. I started sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I knew the reason there was so much turmoil was because the Gospel was not being shared in its entirety. A Gospel that would call people into true repentance. A Gospel that required transformation if received. A crowd of people started to gather around as I said, "There was never a time where I called on Jesus and He didn't come through for me". I started to sob barely getting out the words. I was overtaken by the love of God towards me. I knew in this moment the Gospel was the answer. I kept sharing. I said to them, "It was important for me to acknowledge my sin and repent". I looked out into the crowd and seen people joining hands to pray. I started to share how sex outside of a kingdom marriage was a sin that many needed to repent for. Some was shocked I mentioned it, but it did not stop me from sharing.

I think a huge problem is that we have many who are Christian and Christian key leaders who are okay with the route many have chosen to take concerning racism. Violence and rioting. They feel like racism is the main issue, and maybe the rioting and violence will get peoples attention in a way where they would do something about it. WHEN IN FACT THE MAIN ISSUE IS NEGLECTING TO SHARE THE UNCOMPROMISE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. CALLING PEOPLE INTO TRUE REPENTANCE AND DOING SO WITH SHEER SIMPILICITY.

Racism will never cease no matter what ideas man conceive from their logic thinking. Why? Only the love of God has the ability to change the heart of man. It can only be found in the revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not about big and fancy words that many don't understand. Its not about blessings you get if you give your life to Jesus. It's not about JUST GRACE and it's not about JUST TRUTH.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is sharing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is sharing the power in the finish work of the cross and what it looks like for you to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. We should be explaining thoroughly the significance in the veil being torn when Jesus took His last breath. We should be sharing the significance in why Jesus went to hell on our behalf. We should be sharing the significance of the resurrection and what that means for us. NO MORE BOND TO SIN. We should be sharing the significance of repentance and why it's important to live a holy life.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ should be shared from a place of love with the fear of God in our hearts. The problem is that many do not have the fear of the Lord but the fear of people. Some even allowed the color of their skin be the callous of which they responded instead of responding in a manner that would glorify God. In a way where we could see true change in our nation.

THE PROBLEM ISN'T RACISM. THE PROBLEM IS THE NEGLECT TO SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST WITH THE FEAR OF THE LORD IN OUR HEARTS.
