You are being built like an oak tree, handcrafted by God. Like clay in the potter's hand molded into a beautiful display of God's glory.
I've been seeing the word oak, or an image of an oak tree in random places since August of last year.
As I begin to study the oak tree I found out from various sources that the oak tree represents strength and endurance.
One source said, "The oak tree can withstand incredibly strong storms, like tornados and hurricanes. Even when they are stripped of their leaves, oak trees survive because of their strength, their curvy branches, and their incredible root systems."
Another source mentioned that the oak tree can grow up to 100 feet making it one of the tallest trees. Not only is it one of the tallest trees, but the roots to the oak tree is parallel to it's height. Meaning, its deep rooted.
I believe the Father is drawing you unto Himself so you will become so deep rooted in your identity in Christ that when a storm come of any kind you will not be moved. You will not be blown away by the trials in your life. You will stand tall in the face of adversity knowing who you are and whose you are.
The pain and uncertainty of your past seasons will serve you well. Your suffering has produce much within you. Character, perseverance, and hope has been developed on another level as you journeyed through your previous season with the Father. Your willingness to endure has strengthen you. No storm will be able to overtake you. For you are deep rooted in the ONE who's calling you up higher. Higher to Himself. Higher to see the why behind the storms of life from a heavenly perspective, so that you'll be effective in the place He chooses to plant you.
YOU ARE THE FATHER'S OAK TREE. PLANTED AND POSITIONED BY THE MASTER GARDENER.
Isa 61:3 NIV, "And provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor."
