Y'ALL, I HAVE QUESTIONS...
Sometimes I wonder if Christians are all reading the same Bible (Old and New Testament) with revelation coming from the Holy Spirit, or a demonic spirit. So many quotes on social media and coming from the pulpits with others echoing what they heard that sounds good, but they're not biblical. So many opinions.
I do believe most people mean well, but if they are not careful the words that they speak and think is wisdom, becomes a snare for those listening in. The twisting of God's Word to make it fit what many want it to. To make them feel comfortable in living a mediocre life. A mediocre life will eventually lead to a lukewarm life.
Mediocre means ONLY AVERAGE or ORDINARY QUALITY per Google.
QUESTION 1: What is faith (Hebrews 11:1)?
I honestly want to know what people think faith is. I'm starting to see that most christians definitions of faith doesn't align with what I read in the Bible. It doesn't match the lifestyle of Abraham, the early church, or the disciples.
QUESTION 2 :What does ABRAHAMIC FAITH look like?
I can assure not all will receive the ABRAHAMIC BLESSING.
Why? Not all are willing to follow God blindly, and trust Him beyond what they can see. Yet many are willing to stand by, mock, gossip, and give what they perceive as wisdom to keep those who are willing enslaved to the same mindset. (Genesis 12:1-3)
QUESTION 4: What does TOTAL submission to God look like?
To hear Him, and obey His leading when you absolutely do not have all the answers, or resources at hand. Do you just quit and do things your way, because you don't see what He said right away? Do you do what others feel you should do and call it wise counsel that is the opposite of what God said for you to do? (Romans 12:1, Proverbs 3:5–6)
QUESTION 4: What does living a SACRIFICIAL, HOLY, and DISCIPLINE life for Christ look like?
To give up the things you want to do at times for the sake of the Gospel. To completely lay your life down for the life that bears the fruit of one that follows Christ. (Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 12:11, Psalms 50:5, Luke 9:23)
QUESTION 5: What does living a life of integrity and forgiveness like Joseph look like?
I can assure not everyone will walk in that level of influence with the level of wisdom he acquired. Why? Because all were not willing to press through their seasons of imprisonment with a heart that still chooses to love, and show up for God while choosing to forgive those who betrayed them along the way without quitting. Choosing to take the process as character building and training, rather than punishment. (Genesis 37-50)
QUESTION 6: What is it to be a daughter or a son of God, versus a servant?
Where you serve only when God tells you to and in the positions and at the capacity He tells you to. Versus you serving from a religious stand point out of an unholy obligation. To know you are loved and valued by God even when you don't get it right at times. Having the true revelation of covenant. (Galatians 4:6–7, John 8:35)
QUESTION 7: What is it to honor God, and love Him with all your heart?
I mean when there is nothing you will not do for Him. (Matthew 22:37-38)
QUESTION 8: What is KINGDOM LIVING?
"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit". Romans 14:17 Righteousness, peace, and joy does not come outside the Holy Spirit. It is He who gives us the ability to walk these things out. Not perfectly, because everyone will have their moments. Everyone will go through valleys and in those times it is the fight to die to flesh daily and surrender so that you can walk those things out with the grace of God. Not with a facade, but with completely leaning on Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
I really want to know what y'all think. The revelations that some have, and the quotes that Christians are feasting off of will have them living a lukewarm life when Jesus comes back. Not only will it have them living a lukewarm life, but it will have them turning their nose up, and gossiping about those who are on fire and completely surrendered to God thinking their right.
